BRIDGE Project announces the award result of the IV Workshop Jean Monnet Network

The BRIDGE Project is pleased to announce the two articles contemplated with the award of the Call for Papers for the IV Workshop of the Jean Monnet Network - BRIDGE "Diálogos sobre desarrollo económico y sustentable entre la UE y países terceros", that took place on October 04th, 2022 at the Universidad del Rosario, Colombia.

Title of the article: The Dumping Grounds for Fast Fashion Clothes: An Assessment of the Environmental Tragedy Related to Sustainable Development in the European Union

Andreas R. Ziegler - PhD in International Legal and Economic Relations (Dr. rer. publ.) at the Law School of the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland. Professor of International Law at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Lawyer and political scientist interested in international relations. The main research areas are international (economic) law (with a special emphasis on Switzerland) and international legal developments relating to sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression as well as sex characteristics (SOGIESC).

Amon Elpídio da Silva - L.L.M. in European and International at the Europa-Institut of the Universität des Saarlandes, Germany, (2021). Specialist in European Economic Law, Universität des Saarlandes (2021). B.A. degree in Public Policy and Management (2019) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). Research emphasis: migration policies; sustainable development; international relations; European integration law; and refugee law.

Title of the article: El desarollo económico impulsado mediante las asociaciones público-privadas en la Unión Europea y Colombia desde uma perspectiva presupuestal

Laura del Pilar Poveda Parra - abogada de la Universidad de la Sabana, Magíster en Derecho Administrativo y Candidata a Doctora en Derecho en la Universidad del Rosario, tiene experiencia profesional en el sector público y privado en temas de derecho administrativo y contratación pública. Ha sido docente en pregrado y posgrado en diferentes universidades y actualmente ejerce de forma independiente su profesión.

 

The selected articles will receive an award equivalent to EUR 250 each and will be published in the Thematic Dossier of the 4th Edition of the Latin American Journal of European Studies.

In addition, due to the high quality of the works presented, the Organizing Committee also decided to provide the following authors with the opportunity to publish their respective articles in the Thematic Dossier of the 4th Edition of the Latin American Journal of European Studies: Alexandre Zaporoszenko Cavazzanim, Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil); Amon Elpídio da Silva, Universität des Saarlandes (Germany) and Andreas R.
