The Latin American Journal of European Studies (ISSN 2763-8685) is a publication of the Latin American Center of European Studies, created from the BRIDGE Project of Jean Monnet Network with funding from the Erasmus + Program of the European Commission. With a focus on the editorial lines on European Union Law and Policies and International Relations of the European Union with third countries and Latin America, the fifth edition of the Journal also has a thematic dossier on Private International Law in relations between the European Union and Latin America, organized by Beatriz Campuzano Dias of the University of Seville, (Spain). The fifth edition of the Journal is open for submissions until May 1st, 2023.

The full version of the monograph that received the honorable mention of the Il Monograph Contest For Young Latin American Researchers – Jean Monnet Award, is now available

The organizing committee of the “Il Monograph Contest For Young Latin American Researchers – Jean Monnet Award”, an initiative of the Jean Monnet Network project “Building RIghts and Developing KnowledGE between the European Union and Latin-America – BRIDGE Project”, co-funded by the Union’s Erasmus+ Program European Union, and the Latin American Center for European Studies is honored to publish the full version of the monograph that received the honorable mention of the Il Monograph Contest at the Observatory on European Studies.

The monograph is authored by Ana Victória Klovrza Diogo, Master's student in International Relations at the Federal University of Uberlñndia, with the monograph AS HABITANTES DA FRONTEIRA: AS DEFICIÊNCIAS DAS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS DE ACOLHIMENTO A REFUGIADOS NA UNIÃO EUROPEIA E SEUS IMPACTOS PARA MULHERES REFUGIADAS. 

Part of his monograph was also published in the form of a scientific article in the 4th edition of the “Latin American Journal of European Studies”.

The organizing committee of the “II Monograph Contest For Young Latin American Researchers – Jean Monnet Award”, an initiative of the Jean Monnet Network project “Building RIghts and Developing KnowledGE between the European Union and Latin-America – BRIDGE Project”, co-funded by the Union’s Erasmus+ Program European Union, and the Latin American Center for European Studies is honored to publish the full version of the winning monograph of the II Monograph Contest at the Observatory on European Studies.

The monograph is authored by Sofia Frischenbruder Sulzbach, an undergraduate student in Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and is entitled DIREITO E POLÍTICAS RELACIONADAS A OBRAS GERADAS POR INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL NO BRASIL E NA UNIÃO EUROPEIA.

Sofia received the prize of 1,000.00 Euros for having been the best classified among the candidates, and part of his work was also published in the form of a scientific article in the 4th edition of the “Latin American Journal of European Studies”.
